Anurag basu directed movie "BARFI" is nominated for oscar."BARFI " beats 19 other films to become india's representive at the 85th accedmic award to be held in february 2013.Director Anurag Basu feels the selection of  "barfi " as india's official entry to the oscar in the foreign language film category is like an icing on cake.
Basu told-"we had not expected this kind of response to it - from oscar nomination to box office collection to critical acclaim. All we knew is that we are making a special and a good film. I am numb,don't know how to react.i feel blessed.the oscar nomination is icing on the cake."

the story of heroine begins when she is high of her carrier and about to dawnfall.in this movie there isn't any story of heroine that how she get success,the strugle lyf of a heroine.there is nothing such like that makes a movie hit.it is shown that the heroine listen only for her heart because she is mentally disorder .

bhandarkar gives all the clishes -some that has already used in his previous movies-a gay friend,bisexual,mms scandals ,heroine dating cricketers struggling acctress sleeping with a big star to rise in their carrierphilandering male stars and their manuplative star wives.

this movie hasn't more strength but the role of kareena kapoor is best.the story of movie is somthing like this

Mahi is in love with the star Aryan Khanna (Arjun Rampal), who is married, but separated from his wife. Mahi wants commitment but Aryan is not ready. Mahi becomes needier as he refuses to acknowledge their relationship in public. Finally, she ends up miffing a star wife at a party and being dumped by Aryan. Mahi loses her standing in the film industry and gets completely distraught. But she soon picks herself up, hires a new PR, finds a new boyfriend (Randeep Hooda) and tries to rebuild her career and life. But suffering from bipolar disorder doesn’t make things easier for her. She continues to struggle to find her way through the manipulative and dirty world of Bollywood .The final nail in the coffin comes when she becomes desperate and uses a cheap publicity stunt to make her movie a hit.
heroine gets the  2/3* rating which is not soo good.

Anurag basu's movie barfi is a magical movie its character murphy aka burfy(ranbir kapoor) is a guy who is hearing and speach impared.he often faces problems and always brings a smile on everyone's face.
the film is about the relationship of bburfy with two womens-– Shruti (Ileana D’Cruz)  and  jhilmil(priyanka chopra).
In this movie it was discovered by the all three characters that what the real love.
both shruti and burfy was lovver but shruti has a pressure to marry with a normal man.but she still love burfy.on other hand jhilmil loves burfy blindly.
The strength of the film is the nonlinear narration, raising your anticipation levels and making you curious about how the story is going to unfold. Barfi! starts off rather slowly, but 15 minutes into the film and the leisurely pace of storytelling becomes pleasurable. The entry of Jhilmil adds a new dimension to the story, and the plot begins to pick up.
Most of the dialougs comes in the form of narration.but the scenes are so beautifully crafted that yoy dont really miss the dialouges at all.
after a long time basu has made a such movie.
the bond between ranbir and priyanka is build beautyfully.just one scenes establishes what they share-
no explanations required. Ranbir flinging his shoe in front of Priyanka’s window, dozing off on his daddy’s chest when upset, creating water bubbles that envelope a fire spark, Ranbir and Priyanka shining a glass mirror at each other and holding each other’s little finger as they fall asleep – sheer beauty! Cinematography by Ravi Varman makes the film look like a series of gorgeous paintings.

To top everything that’s already going for the film are fine and mature performances by Ranbir and Priyanka. With every expression and every action, Ranbir proves he is a master at bringing emotions alive on screen. And very few stars can carry off this kind of physical comedy

The love story between Ranbir and Priyanka is all about moments. It’s one of the most loveable and innocent romances of our times. Priyanka’s character loves to watch the world upside down, hates being touched and gets excited when she hears music. She loves looking through a tiny crystal ball gifted by her grandfather and wears bloomers.

Some of the cretists have mocked the performance of actor and the the dialouges.while some appeciated leading lady Bipasa basu's performance
since this movie is presented in 3D affect to show the audiences that movie is horrifying but but from many reviews its not like that.
Bhatt camp's movie is known by its music,its movies have ha mazic of music but its music hasn't shows its mazic.
Raaz 3 has all the ingredients one has come to expect from movies made by the Bhatts.
